Job Purpose 

The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) primary role is to act as “the voice of the customer” regards the services we delivery to our customer base.

Working within the Managed Services department and reporting directly to the Cloud and Managed Services Director. The SDM is responsible for developing positive relationships with TIGs clients, acting as the conduit between the client and our operational delivery teams to make sure that the customer has the best experience working with TIG.

The main responsibility of the SDM will be to assist the Cloud and Managed Services Director with governance across all areas of TIG services including service management, incident and change management, continual service improvement and customer satisfaction as well as playing an essential role in ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery.

The SDM will be responsible for the client reporting, incident management and assisting with the continual service improvement across the client base.

The key responsibilities for this role are below but these are not exhaustive as any other associated duties may reasonably be required.

Main responsabilities 

  • Act as a single point of contact for all service related issues and provide relationship ownership
  • Provide an escalation point for client issues and ensure prompt resolution through TIGs remote
    support centre and/or applicable third-party suppliers.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and perception are achieved and maintained with the TIG clients, through regular service review meetings and providing regular updates on minutes and actions
  • Develop the service with continual service improvement based on the specific needs of the client
  • Service enhancement suggestions through relationship and visibility exposure to improve the client’s
    needs and perceptions
  • Own the ECSQ (external customer satisfaction questionnaire) actions and recommendations
  • Take ownership and manage clients on a day to day basis, escalating issues where necessary
  • Monitor and report on the contractual services and service levels required to support and deliver services provided by TIG to the Clients
  • Ensure that the Customer reporting is created and correct within the timeframes of the clients contracts
  • Produce monthly/quarterly reports for the key clients which incorporates the contractual SLAs and CSIP
  • Provide trend analysis and recommendations based on the incidents logged with the TIG service desk
  • Ensure relevant Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are managed, monitored and adhered to
  • Work with the development team to streamline the reporting tool/format to enhance the reporting for all clients.

TiG enhances Sales and Marketing function with new senior management hires 

In the wake of TiG’s acquisition of ThirdSpace, the company continues to invest in and grow its senior leadership team to better deliver identity, security, and cloud transformation services to clients. 

 

Rich Best, previously UK Sales Director for cloud technology solutions provider SoftwareONE, joins the company as the Group’s Chief Sales Officer – taking over from Nick Lamidey who has decided to step down after 11 years leading the ThirdSpace sales team. 

Joining the business as the new Director of Marketing will be Gareth Rees Jones. With over a decade’s worth of marketing experience operating in the technology sector, Gareth will be leading the marketing strategy for the Group.  

Both Gareth and Rich will be working closely together to expand our cloud transformation services into new and existing markets, whilst setting a new bar for client experience and success.  Nick has decided to hand over the sales reigns of the company that he has helped build, as he takes a different direction in his career and future.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute, manage and lead a set of customers through technical deliver of projects.
  • Support and resolve customer deployment issues.
  • Develop, foster and maintain highly effective customer relationships by ensuring knowledge of client business, effective communications and regular reporting.
  • Analyse, develop and communicate technology improvement for business improvement.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the Office O365 service, EMS, Azure and Datawarehouse technologies and all required tools and products Azure DevOps and serverless computing.
  • Interact daily with other consultants to provide and share technical issue resolution knowledge and deployment/adoption processes best practices.
  • Work with project managers to complete tasks and project deliverables, technical work and logistical operations, reporting of progress and risks and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately.
  • Develop foster and maintain effective working relationships with Microsoft and other vendors to deliver key business metrics.
  • Create technical project and system configuration documentation for handover to support team, overseeing all project transitions into production and support.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually when required.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Act as mentor to other Engineers in order to assist their development and progression through the Company.
  • Attend customer sites when required as in line with main duties.
  • Working to, maintaining company standards, and adhering to policies and procedures.
  • When required visit client sites to complete, and when requested oversee, all work in a timely and orderly fashion in line with allocated hours and in line with all good housekeeping and Health & Safety standards. Any additional hours requested on site by clients, must be pre-authorised.
  • Through communication with clients identify any potential sale upgrade opportunities and pass on the information internally.
  • To undertake suitable training as and when required in order to keep abreast of developments in technology.
  • Ensure all work allocated and completed is to the agreed company standards and procedures and logged as per the Company systems.
  • Comply with all legislation and internal policies as documented in the company’s employee handbook, including Data Protection, Computer Misuse/Security, Equal Opportunities
    Technical Requirements: Deep knowledge in O365 technologies with experience of Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive for Business, Skype for Business, Teams, EMS and Azure Datawarehouse.
  • Experience with O365 migrations and on boarding activities.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform i.e. migrating to Azure platform from on prem or other cloud technologies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication with ability to speak authoritatively at all levels.
  •  Must be able to converse in the language with Business owners and Executives.
  • Experience O365 implementation, Migration, Administration, Exchange implementation and administration.
  • Experience of EMS (Intune, Intune Hybrid, MFA, AIP)
  • Experience of Azure DevOps (Repo, Pipelines, CI/CD).
  • Experience with Serverless computing Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes, CosmosDB.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Datawarehouse technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripts.
  • Ability to write and interpret highly technical documents including but not limited to HLD/ LLD and ‘How To’ guides.
  • Must be able to write, maintain and update Technical documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Preferred Technical Knowledge:

  • Infrastructure as code including Terraform/ Ansible Working Knowledge of Asigra.
  • Working knowledge of Mimecast.
  • Knowledge of Bit-Titan or similar 3rd party migration tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft licensing options.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Data Warehouse Transformations.
  • AI technologies uses and benefits.
  • Experience of OMS.
  • Knowledge of ASR.
  • Knowledge of Azure SignalR.
